Environmental Services
The environmental services team, consisting of housekeeping, laundry and maintenance, support the efforts of all disciplines by providing a clean, safe and healthy environment. Compassion, respect and an understanding of personal dignity ensures that the environment truly is home to each resident.
Religious and Spiritual Services
At Extendicare Bonnyville we focus on residents' needs by providing a wide variety of spiritual and religious programs for various denominations.
Our Pastoral Care Committee works very closely with recreational staff to coordinate spiritual services, prayers, pastoral care visits, in-services, memorial services and spiritual support to the residents as needed. We outreach to our community and surrounding area on behalf of our residents to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to exercise their spirituality.

Business Office
Our business office recognizes the importance of maintaining confidentiality in resident information and financial documentation. Each resident's information is secured in a restricted area in the business office that employs a strict information access protocol.
Our courteous and friendly office coordinator is available to assist you from the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on weekdays. After hours and on weekends, the nursing staff would be pleased to assist you.
Salon Services
Our wheelchair accessible salon caters to all residents' hairstyling needs. Appointments are arranged at the business office or with our nursing personnel. Our licensed hairstylist would be happy to meet your needs.

Education Services
Our staff is trained to be the best and to provide optimum care. Whether the focus is care delivery, safety, choice, wellness or quality of life, our residents' needs and desires are the central theme.
Education also focuses on other areas; fire readiness, use of new equipment, staff health and safety, quality improvement and self-learning are all subjects of great importance in our environment. Extendicare Bonnyville partners with the Aspen Regional Health Authority to enhance learning opportunities for staff.
Volunteer Services
Volunteers are an integral part of Extendicare Bonnyville's team. Volunteers support residents in recreation programs and provide an essential link to our community. Volunteers are clearly identified while onsite and are trained in the roles they assume. A pledge of confidentiality and resident safety are key components of our volunteer orientation program. Our volunteers abide by an established code of conduct to ensure a respectful and nurturing interaction with everyone in the home.
