Religious and Spiritual Services
Ordained clergy and lay volunteers from several religious denominations provide ongoing spiritual care and support to the residents and families of Extendicare Cedars Villa. Our pastoral care team offer programs such as worship services, memorial services, visits from volunteers with religious training, pastoral counselling, hymn sing and bible study.
Environmental Services
Extendicare Cedars Villa's housekeeping, laundry and maintenance team supports the efforts of all disciplines by providing a clean, safe and healthy environment. Compassion, respect and an understanding of personal dignity ensures that this environment is truly home for each resident

Education Services
All staff members are trained through education services in the Wellness Model of Care, Extendicare’s CARE program, proper use of all equipment and current health care subjects applicable to delivering optimum care to our residents. Resident safety is an area of key focus for education services. Monthly fire drills are carried out on all shifts to ensure skills are kept to proficient levels. Other emergency preparedness exercises are practiced throughout the year.
Business Office
The business office at Extendicare Cedars Villa recognizes the importance of maintaining confidentiality in residents' information and financial documentation. Each resident’s information is held in a secured area using a strict information access protocol. Our courteous receptionists are available to assist you between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Weekends and holiday hours are 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Volunteer Services
Volunteers are an integral part of our team. They support residents by assisting with scheduled recreation programs, events and one-to-one interactions. Volunteers are clearly identified while onsite and trained in the roles they assume. A pledge of confidentiality and resident safety are key components of our volunteer orientation program.
Salon Services
Our salon is wheelchair accessible and caters to all resident hairstyling needs. The salon is open Tuesday through Friday.
