Extendicare Cobourg is located in the City of Cobourg, approximately 100 kilometers from Toronto, along the shores of Lake Ontario. We are an accredited long-term care home made up of 69 long-term care beds and 38 assisted living suites (The Landmark Assisted Living).
Since our opening on January 28, 2002, we have been recognized as a community leader in the provision of long-term care, as evidenced by the Northumberland News Readers’ Choice Awards every year from 2003-2007.
Through a staff and community process, we achieved our 3-year accreditation status from The Canadian Council on Health Services Accreditation in November 2003 and a second accreditation in 2005 through our regional process.
