Environmental Services
Extendicare Halton Hill's housekeeping, laundry and maintenance team supports the efforts of all disciplines by providing a clean, safe and healthy environment.

Education Services
All staff members are trained through education services in the Wellness Model of Care, Extendicare’s CARE program, proper use of all equipment and current health care subjects applicable to delivering optimum care to our residents.
Resident safety is an area of key focus for education services. Monthly fire drills are carried out on all shifts to ensure skills are kept to proficient levels. Other emergency preparedness exercises are practiced throughout the year.
Social Work Services
Our social worker can help residents and their families become adjusted to the changes of moving to this new home environment.
As a member of our interdisciplinary team, our social worker provides supportive counselling, information and education with regard to adjustment, psychosocial issues, financial issues and referrals to appropriate community resources.
Social work services strive to enhance the quality of life of all those who live, visit and work at Extendicare Halton Hills.

Religious and Spiritual Services
Our chaplain oversees all pastoral services and spiritual care in our home. This is done in part by outreaching to the community on behalf of our residents, and with clergy for sacraments and prayer.
Inter-denominational spiritual programs are provided within our home. Spiritual programs include bible study, praying the rosary, and multi-faith prayer.
Weekly church services are held in an inter-denominational setting as well as a denominational setting. Our chaplain and volunteers make regular pastoral visits.

Business Office
Our business office recognizes the importance of maintaining confidentiality in residents' information and financial documentation. Each resident’s information is held in a secured area using a strict information access protocol. Our courteous receptionists are available to assist you between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday.

Volunteer Services
Volunteers are an integral part of our team. They support residents by assisting with scheduled recreation programs, events and one-to-one interactions. Volunteers are clearly identified while onsite and trained in the roles they assume.
A pledge of confidentiality and resident safety are key components of our volunteer orientation program.
Beautician Services
Our wheelchair accessible salon caters to all of our residents' hairstyling needs. Appointments can be arranged directly at the salon with our licensed beautician.
