Environmental Services
At Extendicare Lethbridge the general services team supports the efforts of all disciplines by providing a clean, safe and healthy environment. Compassion, respect and an understanding of personal dignity ensures a home-like environment for residents.
Religious and Spiritual Services
We respect spiritual diversity and are sensitive to residents’ individual spiritual needs. Spiritual programs in our home include hymn sing and bible study, which are relevant to many denominations.
Community churches also conduct services on a regular basis. Pastoral volunteers make regular visits, as well as provide the opportunity for receiving communion and blessings within denominational practices.

Business Office
The business office at Extendicare Lethbridge maintains confidentiality in residents' information and financial documentation. Each resident’s information is held in a secured area using a strict information access protocol.
Office personnel are available to assist residents, families and guests between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. weekdays.
Hairstylist Services
Our salon is wheelchair accessible and caters to all resident hairstyling needs. Appointments may be arranged through the business office.

Education Services
Educational services at Exendicare Lethbridge are an important component in the delivery of quality care to the residents and their families.
All staff members are trained through education services in the Wellness Model of Care, Extendicare’s CARE program, proper use of all equipment and current health care subjects applicable to delivering optimum care to our residents.
Resident safety is an area of key focus for education services. Monthly fire drills are carried out on all shifts to ensure skills are kept to proficient levels. Other emergency preparedness exercises are practiced throughout the year.

Volunteer Services
At Extendicare Lethbridge, our volunteers are an integral part of our team. Volunteers support residents by assisting with scheduled recreation programs, events and one-on-one interactions. Volunteers are clearly identified while onsite and trained in the roles they assume. A pledge of confidentiality and resident safety are key components of our volunteer orientation program.
