Environmental Services
Extendicare London's environmental services department is responsible for ensuring that our residents are safe and secure both within and outside of their home, as well as ensuring that Extendicare London maintains its welcoming atmosphere.
Our environmental team members are key personnel who focus not only on the housekeeping and laundry needs of our residents, but in fostering a trusting relationship with our residents, families and team members.

Education Services
All staff members are trained through education services in the Wellness Model of Care, Extendicare’s CARE program, proper use of all equipment and current health care subjects applicable to delivering optimum care to our residents.
Resident safety is an area of key focus for education services. Monthly fire drills are carried out on all shifts to ensure skills are kept to proficient levels. Other emergency preparedness exercises are practiced throughout the year.

Religious and Spiritual Services
Extendicare London understands the diversity of spirituality. Our Spiritual Care Committee oversees all pastoral services and spiritual care at our home. We have partnered with community groups to provide church services, bible studies, worship, activities and one-on-one visits.
Inter-denominational spiritual programs are provided in our home. Weekly church services are held in an inter-denominational setting as well as a denominational setting. Our pastoral care volunteers make regular visits.

Business Office
Our business office recognizes the importance of maintaining confidentiality in residents' information and financial documentation. Each resident’s information is held in a secured area using a strict information access protocol.
Our courteous receptionists are available to assist you between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

Volunteer Services
Volunteers are an integral part of our team. They support residents by assisting with scheduled recreation programs, events and one-to-one interactions. Volunteers are clearly identified while onsite and trained in the roles they assume.
A pledge of confidentiality and resident safety are key components of our volunteer orientation program.
Beautician Services
Our wheelchair accessible salons caters to all of our residents' hairstyling needs. Appointments can be arranged with the hairstylists between 9:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
