Environmental Services
Our general services department ensures that our home is clean, safe, healthy and inviting environment. Our environmental team, which includes housekeeping, laundry and maintenance are key to focusing on the residents' needs and in fostering a trusting and respectful relationship with residents, families, and other team members.
Education Services
All staff members are trained through education services in the Wellness Model of Care, Extendicare’s CARE program, proper use of all equipment and current health care subjects applicable to delivering optimum care to our residents.
Resident safety is an area of key focus for education services. Monthly fire drills are carried out on all shifts to ensure skills are kept to proficient levels. Other emergency preparedness exercises are practiced throughout the year.

Religious and Spiritual Services
We understand the diversity of spirituality. Our pastoral care team oversees all pastoral services and spiritual care. Our associated relationship with a chaplain offers on-call service 24-hours a day with individual resident support available from the pastoral care team.
Spiritual programs relevant to many denominations are provided within our home. Spiritual and inspirational programs include hymn sing, short bible readings and reflections.
Weekly spiritual services are held in a non-denominational setting. Our pastoral volunteers make regular visits, as well as provide the opportunity for receiving communion and blessings within some denominational practices. Residents' choices are fully respected in defining their spiritual needs.

Business Office
Our business office recognizes the importance of maintaining confidentiality in residents' information and financial documentation. Each resident’s information is held in a secured area using a strict information access protocol.
Our courteous and friendly office coordinator is available to serve residents, families and visitors during the regular workweek from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. On weekends and holidays, assistance is available at the nursing desk.

Hairstylist Services
Our salon is wheelchair accessible and caters to all of our residents' hairstyling needs. Appointments can be arranged directly with our licensed beautician who will be happy to meet your needs.

Volunteer Services
Volunteers are an integral part of our team. They support residents through assisting with scheduled recreation programs, events and one-on-one interactions.
Volunteers are clearly identified while onsite and trained in the roles they assume. A pledge of confidentiality and resident safety are key components of our volunteer orientation program.
