We are located in the historic town of Port Hope, on the shore of Lake Ontario bordering the south side of Highway 401.

At Extendicare Port Hope, we understand that each resident's quality of life depends on an approach to care that combines resident and family members' wishes with individual assessments from a team of trained caregivers.

Our home is warm, open, personal and pleasant. One hundred, twenty-eight residents call Extendicare Port Hope home, living in private and semi-private (standard) rooms on two levels. It's small enough to be intimate but large enough to provide a full range of programs and services. Residents are encouraged to bring small items such as bedspreads, pictures or even favourite piece(s) of furniture to personalize their rooms. Memory boxes, located at each room's entrance, give the residents a chance to display personal treasures and collectibles.
