Religious and Spiritual Services
At Extendicare St. Paul we understand the diversity of spirituality. Our pastoral care programs are designed to meet the spiritual component of life for all residents. Services are held regularly for most religious denominations within the facility, thus assuring that spiritual needs are met on a personal level. Our visiting clergy and pastors provide a comprehensive range of services including worship, sacraments, prayer, visiting the sick, funerals and memorial services.

Business Office
Our business office recognizes the importance of maintaining confidentiality in residents' information and financial documentation. Each resident’s information is held in a secured area using a strict information access protocol.
Our courteous and friendly office coordinator is available to serve residents, families and visitors during the regular work week from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. On weekends and holidays assistance is available at the nursing desk.

Beautician Services
Our wheelchair accessible salon caters to all our residents' hairdressing needs. Appointments can be arranged at the business office.
Education Services
All staff members are trained through education services in the Wellness Model of Care, Extendicare’s CARE program, proper use of all equipment and current health care subjects applicable to delivering optimum care to our residents.
Resident safety is an area of key focus for education services. Monthly fire drills are carried out on all shifts to ensure skills are kept to proficient levels. Other emergency preparedness exercises are practiced throughout the year.

Volunteer Services
Volunteers are an integral part of our team. They support residents by assisting with scheduled recreation programs, events and one-to-one interactions. Volunteers are clearly identified while onsite and trained in the roles they assume. A pledge of confidentiality and resident safety are key components of our volunteer orientation program.
