Dietary Services
At Extendicare Falconbridge, we pride ourselves in providing nutritious home-cooked meals. Our Dietary Committee consists of dedicated residents who meet to discuss the current menu. Changes to our menu are made as a result of the feedback that we receive from this committee.  

Our in house registered dietitian assesses the nutritional requirements of our residents and then, together with our residents, families, and registered team members, a best-suited nutritional plan of care is developed.

Environmental Services
At  Extendicare Falconbridge, our environmental services department ensures that our home maintains its welcoming atmosphere.  Our environment team members are key personnel who focus not only on the housekeeping and laundry needs of our residents, but in fostering a trusting relationship with our residents, families, and team members.

Our environmental services department is also responsible for ensuring that our residents are safe and secure, both within and outside of their home.

Social Work Services
At Extendicare Falconbridge, we recognize the fact that admission into a long-term care centre can be very difficult for you and/or your loved one.  Many changes are experienced when one moves into a long-term care centre.  Our social worker can help you and your family to become acquainted and accustomed to this new living environment.

As a member of our interdisciplinary team, Extendicare Falconbridge's social worker provides supportive counselling, information and education with regard to adjustment, psychosocial issues, financial issues, and referrals to appropriate community resources.  Social work services strive to enhance the quality of life of all those who live, visit and work at Extendicare Falconbridge.

Religious and Spiritual Services
Extendicare Falconbridge understands the diversity of spirituality.  Weekly church services are held in an inter-denominational as well as a denominational setting.  Ministers and priests from the community volunteer their time to ensure that services are provided for various faiths.  Spiritual programs include praying the rosary, holy communion, and multi-faith prayer.

Business Office
At Extendicare Falconbridge, we believe in the importance of personal contact and recognize the fact that our residents and family members schedules often vary.   Our courteous receptionists are available to assist you between the hours of 6:30 a.m. and 9:00 p.m. daily (weekends 6:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.).

Beautician Services
Our wheelchair accessible salon is located on the main floor and caters to all of our residents' hairstyling needs.  Appointments can be arranged at the business office.
